Adam and the Lamar Junior High Honors Band performed their winter concert. It included such tunes as The Grinch, Rampage and the Nutcracker Suite. Adam rocked the “bone”!!!

Adam had All District band tryouts today. He is a very skilled trombone player! Connie said that he did a really good job. The competition was tough, but Adam is AWESOME!

the guitar hero competition
Adam participated in a Guitar Hero competition at the high school. Out of a field of 13, he came in 2nd place. Adam’s “real guitar” teacher, Steve, was also there. He rocked through the brackets to the finals, where he met his friend, Ryan. It was a really good duel (see the video below)! Way [...]

Adam turned 14 this year. We celebrated at home with some cake, ice cream and presents. I am amazed at how grown up he is! What happened to my little boy???
astros game
Chris, Adam, Aaron and I went to Minute Maid Park. The Astros got clobbered and it was raining, so no open roof or Friday night fireworks. Oh well…
robert’s going away party
Tim and Neo invited us over to hang out with some of friends to wish Robert farewell as he leaves us to join the army. We had a great time visiting, watching basketball and playing Guitar Hero on the big screen, and eating Neo’s fruit salad (which really was AWESOME)!
