Connie went up to the school to hang out with Aaron, Abbey, Aidan and Ainsley while they had their Christmas parties. They had a lot of fun (wrapping each other in aluminum foil???) and enjoyed time with their friends before going on Christmas break.

Abbey’s birthday
Hard to believe it, but Abbey turned 10 this year! My baby girl is getting so big! We took Abbey out for lunch with Yoko, Aidan and Ainsley and then went shopping for some new clothes. scissors
So, after thinking that we were beyond the surprises that generally come with raising toddlers, we were proven wrong. Abbey and Ainsley got a pair of scissors and decided to cut their own hair. Nice!
abbey and evan
Abbey got together with her best friend, Evan, for some swimming fun. Evan and his family moved out of the neighborhood, so she doesn’t get to see him as frequently. They had a great time together!
girls just want to have fun!
Connie and the girls recently had a picnic and, on another day, hung out at Chuck E Cheese.. kind of a “girls day out” thing. Video and pictures below.

Aidan, Aaron and Abbey had their awards day at school. They all had a great year! Here are a list of their awards:

3rd grade field trip
Abbey and her classmates went to Brazos Bend State Park for their annual field trip. They hiked the walking trails and visited the George Observatory, for a lesson in space and astronomy. They also got to see and pet various animals that are native to the park.

It was rodeo day at school, so Aidan, Abbey and Ainsley dressed up in their western duds…

princess party
Connie took Abbey and Ainsley to our local Chick-fil-a for a princess party. The whole store was decorated and full of little princesses. They got to take a limo ride and took some wonderful pictures. What beautiful little girls I have!
