halloween 2009

Well, another night of trick or treating is done…  Aaron went over to his friend, Bear’s house for a party.  Adam dressed up as a hunter, Abbey as Alex Russo (the wizard on Wizards of Waverly Place), Aidan was Harry Potter and Ainsley was an Indian princess.  We have WAY TOO MUCH candy…  we’ll be hyped up for a while!   The kids had a great time.

packers v. roughnecks – playoffs round 1

Aaron and the Greatwood Packers met up with the Rosenberg Roughnecks in round 1 of the 2009 playoffs.  The final result:  Packers 48, Roughnecks 0!  Heading to round 2!!!  Aaron had a number of tackles and blocked very well on the offensive line.  Good game all around!  Tonight, he celebrates the win, Halloween and his teammate’s birthday over at Bear’s house.  Way to go Pack Attack!!!

family fun

We organized a get together at my Mom’s since Nicole and Chase were in town.  The McGees, Sellers, Fergusons and Grants were all there.  Stacey and Steve, we missed you guys.  We had some great food and Chase and Nicole entertained us with guitar and singing.  We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed spending some time together!

packers v. cobras

Wow!  What a game…  Aaron and the Greatwood Packers were going up against the top ranked Stafford Cobras.  At halftime, the Packers were down 19-8, with their only score coming in the last minute of the first half.  I am not really sure what Coach Jackson said to them, but they came back on fire, defeating the Cobras 25-19!  It was an awesome second half…  Aaron had a number of tackles and squarely blew out a defensive tackle that was much larger than him throughout the entire game.  This defeat will give the Packers the #2 seed going into the playoffs… Super bowl bound!!!  Good job, Aaron!  Aaron was also the team captain, along with his friend, Jake.

chris and simon depart

Well, we had a great time having Chris and Simon here over the past couple of weeks.  It was great to catch up with Chris and meet Simon for the first time.  They had a very busy schedule trying to get everything in that they had planned, but I think they had a great time.  We look forward to maybe seeing Simon here as an exchange student soon!  Love you guys!  Thank you Ulf and Uschi for sharing your kids with us.  They are AWESOME!!!
