Connie took Chris to New Orleans to witness the sights and sounds (and smells) of Mardi Gras.  They spent some time on Bourbon Street and the French Quarter, toured the city and finished it up with a steamboat ride on the Mississippi.

aidan in the ER

Well, we woke up on Super Bowl Sunday and Aidan was not quite himself.  He was very lethargic and was complaining of pain in the stomach and chest.  Connie ended up taking him to the ER around 2:30pm.  After a series of tests (chest x-ray, ct scan, blood work, etc.) he was discharged about 2:00am with pneumonia, being treated with anti-biotics.  Not quite how Connie wanted to spend the day, but we are glad that Aidan will be feeling better soon.

Update:  Aidan’s pediatrician confirmed that the radiology reports showed pneumonia as the diagnosis.  He is taking antibiotics and returned to school today (Thursday).  Thank you for all of your prayers and concern.  – Don
