paintballing

Aaron’s friend, Ricky, invited us to his 10th birthday party to go paintballing.  Aaron, Adam, Chris and I went out and shot the place up.  We got all “camoed” up and played against some real Rambo looking opponents.  Everyone had a great time and we look forward to going out and doing it again before [...]

adam’s winter concert

Adam and the junior high symphonic band presented their annual Winter Concert last night.  We enjoyed performances from the Jazz Band, Symphonic Band and Honors Band.   Adam is the trombone section leader (first chair).   It is amazing how talented the students have become since starting in band in 6th grade.  Enjoy!

Yes, it snowed…  It wasn’t much, but the fact that it has only been 4 years since the last snow is pretty cool.  None of it stuck, but the kids enjoyed in nonetheless…

christmas tree farm

We took the kids to the Old Time Christmas Tree Farm to enjoy the experience of locating and cutting down our own Christmas tree.  While we ended up selecting a pre-cut tree from North Carolina (go figure), we had a great time!  There was a train ride and activities for the kids, including a visit [...]
