Well, another Halloween come and gone. The kids had a great time and got lots of candy. We went by Grandpa and Grandma McGee’s house to let them see the kids. Then, the kids went trick or treating in the neighborhood. They made their annual stop by Mrs. Vrba’s house (their P.E. teacher) to do a trick for the treats. The kids recited the alphabet for her. It was surprisingly very quiet. Not sure if it had to do with it being Friday night or all of the kids were tuckered out from Field Day at school today, but there weren’t a whole lot of trick or treaters this year. Oh well, more candy for those that ventured out! Enjoy the pictures!
Aidan wanted to make sure that everyone knew about his favorite video.
The Greatwood Packers sophomore team lost their first game of the season to the New Territory Knights. The game was fairly well balanced, but the Knights had a couple of long scores that the Pack could not recover from. The final score was 39-19. The Pack dropped from 1st place to 2nd place in the league, but they are still in Super Bowl contention. Aaron and his teammates were very disappointed. I am sure they will work hard this week and get ready for the Broncos next week. Go Pack!!!
My sister, Rhonda, for as long as I can remember, has had hair all the way down to her waist. Beautiful, curly locks.. It appears that she has parted with her hair, in order to donate it to Locks of Love, which will use it to give a child that has medically lost their hair a new hairdo!! Nice.. So, the picture below is what she looked like before the cut. The video is the actual cutting. Once I get her to send me an after shot, I’ll post it. Sorry for the video quality, it was from a cell phone.
